Relaxation Class — Mondays (not public holidays) 9am – 10am

Start the week positively! A simple 1 hour session which begins with 30 minutes of breathing, stretching/limbering and postures to prepare the body and mind for the relaxation practice that follows.

The ability to relax is a profound skill and requires practice for most people. The very first step is to know how it feels. The ultimate aim is to experience our natural self unimpeded by negative thoughts, emotions, or body tensions. It is one way to begin to know the self more fully. This session is suitable for almost everyone. I am hoping that those with particular difficulty in relaxing will find it especially useful.

$5 pay as you go.

Seniors Class — Tuesdays, 10am – 11.30pm

This class has been ongoing for a number of years with various teachers. I am privileged to be the current teacher. The ages of students range from 60 to 80+ years. Some of the students have been practising yoga for years and are a total inspiration while others are new to  yoga. It is best to phone me first and discuss your needs and whether the class is suitable for you. There is never a class without some laughter.

$5 pay as you go.

Beginners Class — Thursdays, 4.15 – 5.30pm

There is something very exciting about sharing students’ first experiences of yoga as they discover new aspects of themselves. It reminds me of what I love about yoga. In this class we focus on the basics of breathing awareness,stretching/limbering,postures, relaxation, and a little philosophy. I try to work in a way that suits individual needs, where ever the starting point may be, building suppleness, strength, and self awareness.

$10 pay as you go.

General Class — Thursdays, 5.45 – 7.15pm

This is an open class where I try and provide a variety of challenges to suit the varying abilities and experience of the students. We work with breathing practices, stretching/limbering, postures,a little philosophy, meditation, and relaxation. My aim is that the students leave the class feeling  lighter and clearer and more relaxed.

$10 pay as you go.

Private lessons

These are obviously tailored to the individual student.

The cost is $60 for the first lesson; and after that is $50 an hour.
